Alberto Fernandez Senior Director of Racquets

Alberto Fernandez began his career as tennis pro with the Greater Miami Tennis and Education Foundation, exposing tennis to underprivileged children. Soon after, Alberto accepted a pro position with the City of Miami, where he also took on the challenge of wheelchair tennis, and high performance juniors where a vast majority has received tennis scholarships to play in division 1 or division 2 Universities. Following that Albert directed his own city junior program and kick-started the first adult program in the greater Miami area.

In 2008 Alberto joined the Miami Dade Fire Dept. as an EMT. Upon finishing his paramedics’ degree, Alberto was promoted to Officer in Charge.

Prior to his current role at Weston Racquet Club, Alberto has held numerous positions with CDT across the country. In 2011 Alberto joined the Cliff Drysdale Tennis team at the famed Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne, FL. where he worked directly with our junior camps. After building this program, Alberto accepted a new position with CDT as Camp Director, Operations Manager, and later moved to California to become the Director of Tennis at Omni Rancho Las Palmas.

Luisa Ortiz Membership Manager

Born in Medellin, Colombia and raised in New York, Luisa has been a member of the Weston Racquet Club family for over 7 years. Luisa has held positions in both pro shop and membership departments at the club, and currently holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Florida International University while she works towards her Master's of Business Administration.

Adam Maddock Head Professional

Originally from Manchester, England. Adam is Level 4 LTA and PTR certified and has been teaching tennis for 14 years, both in England and the United States.


Adam spent 4 years training as a player at the prestigious IMG Academy which has produced some of the best players in the world before being moved to play in Barcelona Spain at the Sanchez – Casal tennis academy where he trained and served as a hitter for many well known players while playing ITF’s himself.


After playing and getting into coaching he has taught several ITF and Division I college players and played an integral part in helping grow many clubs throughout his home country.

Harry Waldie Junior Program Director

Harry played a lot of tennis back home in England and won his clubs championships in men’s singles and doubles twice. He attended and played for the prestigious Stirling University in Scotland which has been a base for many professional tennis players to play and train. While playing at university he studied for his Master's degree in nutrition and weight management.


While on breaks from studying and playing he would come to the states and spent his time being the head of tennis at a camp in Maine, which he did for 4 seasons helping run and grow the program.


He moved full time to the states in 2022 to begin his career with Cliff Drysdale.

Aleksi Gottlieb Tennis Professional

South Florida native Aleksi attended and played for the local school American Heritage where she played for the varsity team for 4 years.


After school and competing in many tournaments throughout the state she left to attend and play for a D1 University in Rhode Island where she was captain her junior and senior year


Once her NCAA career came to end Aleksi moved back to south Florida to start her coaching journey with one of her old coaches who was looking for her help. She started out coaching young juniors helping them compete in local tournaments soon after she started working with older players who were competing at higher levels such as ITF’s and preparing for their own college careers.


Aleksi started at Weston in 2022.
